If our driver can manoeuvre and position alongside and they can see the waste from the controls then they can load from over a fence or wall, usually up to 8 metres with a double extension. They need around 3.8m of headroom and an extra 2m for the hydraulic arm.

Waste loaded onto our open-back lorries can occasionally extend above the sides, as long as the total weight is below maximum capacity. Drivers will use their knowledge and experience to advise on this. The tarpaulin can be attached over some loads to help secure loose items during transport.
